A conventional energizer is designed for one power source — either mains or battery, not both. The Stafix Unigizer eliminates the need to buy separate units for mains and solar/battery applications. The Stafix 46000W is a mains-only powerhouse — 46 Joules of output energy, covering up to 460km of fence — more than double the X18i. It is not solar-compatible but adds significant modern technology: Bluetooth connectivity for nearby control, Wi-Fi integration with the Datamars Livestock Farm App, remote voltage monitoring from anywhere with internet access, and instant alerts when voltage drops. This is the energizer for mega farms and large conservancies where remote monitoring from a smartphone is essential.

Yes. If you have an existing farm fence structure with posts and wires already installed, you can upgrade or replace just the energizer without replacing the entire fence. A Stafix Unigizer connects to your existing fence wires via the live (positive) and earth (negative) terminals on the front of the unit.
However, for the energizer to perform at its rated output, the existing fence must be in good condition — wires properly tensioned, insulators intact, earth system correctly installed, and no significant shorts from vegetation.
