2Does the fence keep working when KPLC power cuts out?
Yes. Every energizer we install includes a 12V battery backup that maintains the fence for 24 hours during any KPLC outage. This is included as standard on every installation — not a paid extra. For remote farms and properties with frequent or permanent outages, we install fully solar-powered systems that operate indefinitely with no grid connection needed.
3Is an electric fence legal in Kenya?
Yes. Electric fences are fully legal in Kenya when installed according to Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) guidelines — approved energizer specifications, warning signs at legally-required intervals, proper earthing, and correct wire gauge. All our installations are KEBS-compliant and we can provide compliance documentation for insurance or lease agreement requirements. The electrical pulse is non-lethal — safe and compliant with IEC 60335-2-76.
4How long does installation take?
A standard 50×100 Nairobi residential plot is completed in one working day. Commercial properties with 500m–1,500m perimeters: 2–4 days. Farm fences: 3–5 days per kilometre depending on terrain and post type. ClearVu mesh fence: 5–10 days due to concrete post setting time. We provide a clear timeline in every written quotation before any work begins.
5Do you repair fences installed by other companies?
Yes — we repair and service all brands and all fence types installed by any company. Same-day response in Nairobi and Kiambu. Common repairs include broken or sagging wires, dead or faulty energizers, failed batteries, insulator replacement, poor earthing, and lightning damage. Annual maintenance contracts from KES 8,000/year keep your system in peak condition. Call +254 740 800099 for emergency repair response.

Nemtek (Wizord 2 at KES 19,500; Druid 15 at KES 26,000) — best for Nairobi residential and commercial security. LCD display, armed response integration, 2-year warranty. Kenya's most popular brand for homes.
